The mobile size of our bestselling backpack, now in a custom waxed canvas shell.

A streamlined profile, excellent fit, and intuitive access have made the CPL series an award-winner and our bestselling backpack style for 8 years. We took its modern DNA and infused it with a custom-made, high-end cotton & wax-finished shell called P400 Wax C4X.

The waxed canvas was developed with the historic Scottish mill Halley Stevensons. It is stiff, durable, and designed to get better with age. We added leather zipper pullers sourced from 100-year-old supplier Berger Co. Combined with our standard gray internal lining and the CPL16s signature features sets and appearance, this heritage variation is built to make its own legacy.
